Vendor Spotlight - Mandy Whitley Weddings
Have you missed us? We've missed you! We've been on a bit of a hiatus here on the Planner's blog but we are so excited to be back with more fun and interesting blog posts full of great information for all of you sweet Nashville brides! To kick off our blog for 2014, we are thrilled to feature Mandy Whitley Weddings! Mandy Whitley is a wonderful Nashville wedding photographer, but her skills don't stop there. Her behind the camera talents also include children, family, maternity and even pets! So Mandy could capture your wedding day and then be there for future special moments as well. Not to mention, you couldn't meet a nicer gal.
Mandy was so kind to answer a few questions and to share some of her beautiful work with us. Enjoy!
How did you get into photography?
Ever since I was young I've been the person with a camera in hand. I've always felt the importance of documenting life. I actually got started photographing weddings after my own wedding 7 years ago. My sweet wedding photographer was so kind to mentor me and help me learn about wedding photography by photographing weddings with her, which was such a great learning experience for me. I just fell in love with it!
What do you love most about photography?
Can I just answer everything? ;) In all seriousness I think photography is just so much fun! How can you top a job where you get to document life's most important events for people and share in the joy of their wedding day? You really can't, in my opinion.
What would you say is your photography style?
My style is clean & natural. I love working with natural light and really love to capture true moments and interaction between my couples.
Do you shoot digital or film?
Digital.
What is the most important thing you want brides to know about Mandy Whitley Weddings?
I love photographing weddings. I want you to have all the photos you planned to have as well as moments you never saw happening! When you look through your images you will have a complete and full story of your wedding day. I'm also very organized and easy to work with - I love reaching out to your other vendors to help insure everything goes as smoothly as possible for you on your big day!

Coffee or Tea? Coffee, too much coffee. ;)
Favorite Movie? So hard to choose just one…..I think my favorite newish movie would be The Great Gatsby - it's just so pretty and I'm a sucker for any movie or TV show with great costumes (and Leonardo DiCaprio doesn't hurt either!)
