Member Requirements
New Planner Membership: $250 (Prorated July 1st - $175)
Demonstrate excellence as a wedding planner
Own a wedding planning business in the Middle Tennessee area
Have a business license/DBA/Tax ID
Business Insurance with at least $1million in coverage
Prior completion of at least 10 weddings as the paid wedding planner with signed contracts for each.
PDF Itineraries with vendor list and photos from 3 past weddings
Link to online wedding reviews

Members will keep things that are said in the group meetings, round table events, closed Facebook page, and conversations confidential. It shall not be shared with anyone outside of the group
Members will strive to provide the highest quality of service at every level
Members will communicate professionally with colleagues, vendors, associates and all persons in the event industry
Members will not advertise/market/promote in a false or inaccurate manner
Members will attend educational programs to increase professional growth and knowledge of the industry as available online or in person
Members will contribute expertise to meetings and encourage constructive dialogue between colleagues
Members will abide by the NWPG bylaws, policies, and guidelines.
Members will not defame any member or non-member, by making false statements or accusations that will potentially injure his or her reputation or personal integrity
Members will uphold professional working standards
Members will uplift the wedding industry community, valuing their services provided, by not charging less than $1,800 for services offered
New Membership Application
Membership applications will not be considered complete until the full application and supporting documents are submitted. Your information will be reviewed and verified. The Board of Directors will consider your application for approval.
