Four Seasons Nashville with Southern Bride Magazine

Four Seasons Event with Southern Bride Magazine

Let me set the scene for you: Nashville, suddenly transformed with a massive snowstorm on the day of the event. Talk about an unexpected plot twist! So here we were, tasked with producing a shoot amidst 7 feet of snow in the South. Crazy, right? Sure, the snow made things challenging, but it also brought a whole new level of excitement to the table. Our vendor team, absolute rockstars, didn’t let the weather dampen their spirits. We rallied together, pushing past the ice, and focused on bringing all the intricate details to life. From the stunning gown to the standing chandeliers, every element was carefully curated to reflect the refinement and hospitality of the Four Seasons Hotel. So, despite the unexpected snowstorm, this day was captivating. You’ll just have to see it to believe it.

The Chandeliers

The main event room at The Four Seasons Nashville has these modern permanent chandeliers that hang from the ceiling. As a designer, my goal was to transform the space into something more intimate, while still maintaining the refined elegance of the hotel setting. I decided to bring in standing chandeliers to draw the eye away from the modern elements and create a more warm and inviting atmosphere. We carefully selected crystal chandeliers and wrapped them with vines. For the tables we used velvet linens and garden roses to soften the space and add a touch of natural beauty. The result was a transformation that showcased the hotel's versatility and ability to provide a retreat right in the heart of the city.

The Ceremony Site

Step into the magical front foyer of the Four Seasons Nashville, where the floor-to-ceiling windows offer a breathtaking view of downtown Nashville’s Cumberland River. For our ceremony, we wanted to make the most of this stunning backdrop, so we partnered with Nashville Candle Company to create a romantic candle- filled setting. We created a beautiful arch of crawling vines which were fixed to the windows by Chelsea Carter Floral, adding the perfect amount of color and warmth to the space; while the chairs added a touch of European elegance. It was a fun challenge to reimagine this modern space and make it a bit more cozy.

The Gown

Stepping into The Bride Room bridal boutique, I was in search of the perfect gown for our upcoming wedding shoot at the Four Seasons Hotel. I envisioned a gown that exuded sophistication, elegance, and timeless beauty—a gown that would perfectly mirror the sophistication of the Four Seasons Nashville. As I perused the racks, my eyes were immediately drawn to an exquisite Ines Di Santo Gown, the newest addition to her collection. As soon as the bride slipped it on, we knew it was the one. The modern lace and stunning silhouette perfectly captured the refined elegance we were aiming for.

The Calligraphy & Paper

When I first described the refined European elegance look and feel we were going for, for our shoot at the four seasons Nashville, white ink calligraphy said right away that they had just the thing! A stunning suite was created, with elegant detailing, rose garlands, and more. The paper was a work of art in itself, drawing in an elegant gold script that perfectly complemented our shoot's refined elegance. For the reception, we used menu booklets with powder blue silk ribbon, adding a touch of sophistication to the overall look and feel. It was truly a dream come true! For all the brides out there looking for that perfect touch of elegance for their big day, white ink calligraphy has got you covered!

A big thank you to our very talented team and to Southern Bride Magazine for awarding us “Best Overall Design” &  "Lasting Impression Award”
