Vendor Spotlight-Visual Elements/Quest Drape
Happy Wednesday!! Today we are featuring a Nashville Speciality Design company, Visual Elements. They have recently joined forces with Quest Drape, so that means lots more speciality decor items for your Nashville wedding. There own Michele Harbin, Director of New Business Development was just presented with prestigious Presidents Award by her peers in the 2104 Tennessee Wedding & Event Specialists Association (TWESA).
We spoke with Sara Moggio an Event Producer for Visual Elements to tell us about their services & products.
What made you go into the business of specialty décor?
I’ve been a corporate and social planner for the past decade, however, my transition into the specialty décor business was an easy one. My love of making things pretty, connecting with clients and putting logistics together is what I enjoy the most – so why not the exciting career change? Visual Elements had been one of my favorite and go-to vendors for years and I always kept going back to them for their excellent customer service, creativity and custom products. It goes without saying, anything VE does is drool-worthy!
What are all the different ways brides can use your products?
One of my favorite ways to utilize our products is to mix and match, especially since our inventory covers such a large spectrum for any client’s event needs. Stylized drape, custom chandeliers and swanky furniture pieces are just a few of my favorite things to play around with to take the client’s vision to the next level. These days it’s all about customization and having a voice for the bride and groom. Visual Elements does just that.
What options do you offer?
Visual Elements offers a custom, unique approach to the way we offer specialty event décor items. We take regular ideas and turn them into something extraordinary!
We recently added fun food trucks to their inventory, with 6 in various colors. What a fun idea for weddings!!
Some personal questions about Sara:
Mac or PC? Mac. I’m a sucker for anything shiny and new.
Tea or Coffee? Neither – Redbull! What can I say, it must give me that extra spunk for my clients.
Favorite Things To Do in Nashville? I just recently moved and I love exploring my new neighborhood. Whether it’s finding a new local drinking hole or fantastic boutique, Nashville is a great city with innovative entrepreneurs that make this city such a special place to call home.
Favorite Song Right Now? I’m mildly embarrassed to admit this, but Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off”. It’s super upbeat and gets me going on any Monday morning!
