Vendor Spotlight-Stoveworks

Good morning everyone! Today we are honored to feature Stoveworks. They serve up their delicious and authentic Southern cooking in the historic Factory in Franklin. Here's a little more about Stoveworks from Catering Manager Breigh: How did you get into catering?

I got involved in the event management business after college as I really love creating experiences that people can hold on to. I think it is a really remarkable opportunity to help make a memory by paying attention to the details that will all work together to make a function meaningful. This love for events has allowed me to work in a variety of different roles within this industry from venue management to talent booking to catering to overall event management. In each role, I just love being a part of creating a moment in time that will mean something to the people that are in attendance.

What are some different options for catering that you offer brides?

I think where Stoveworks is really a wonderful option for brides because we give each bride specialized attention and we have a wonderful array of options to help create an event that is customized to the couple. Beyond that, we have a varied menu so, in many case, brides may decide to work with us for both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding reception and we can offer two different culinary experiences but they only have to work with one caterer which certainly helps when you have so much to manage for your wedding weekend.

What are some new things you are working on for 2012?

We continue to work to create unique and fun catering options all the time and this next year will be no different! We have a wonderful Chef who knows what is on-trend in catering and also has some unique ideas of his own so we always have great, new options for brides to consider.

What catering trends do you think we'll see in 2012?

I think people have really moved away from "safe" menus and really exploring fun options. This has led to people really indulging their palette and finding options that suit their specific taste and sharing that with their guests. I think this is a neat way for those throwing the event to put a unique, personal twist on their event.

What catering trends do you wish would go away?

In keeping with the answer to the last question, I love that people are moving away from the status quo options and instead working to create a menu that they are excited about and that they'll love and that their guests are bound to love as well.

Why should brides choose Stoveworks?

Stoveworks treats each bride as a unique indivudual and we believe that her experience should be customized to reflect that. Stoveworks has a tremendous menu with a wide variety of options to provide the happy couple and their guests with food and beverages that enhance their experience on that special day. Beyond that, we have a really wonderful team of people that will work directly with the bride to make sure that her experience is carefree and enjoyable!
