Vendor Spotlight-Jenna Henderson Photography
Photography is a very important element on your wedding day, because after your special day is over, all you have are the memories & pictures. That's why it's important to choose the perfect photographer. Jenna Henderson Photography is one that we love, learn more about her services & what she provides Nashville couples. How did you get into photography?
I got into photography as a sophomore in high school, when I saved my money to buy a "clicky" camera. I found quickly that I have a natural eye for light, so I got my degree in photography and began working full time for myself in 2007.
What do you love about photography?
I love the feelings that a photograph can evoke, no matter how many times the image is viewed. Anytime I can create an image that has emotions that resonate in such a way that the photograph doesn't get tired or boring over time, I feel I've done my job well.
What would you say is your photography style?
My style is timeless yet fresh, classic yet whimsical. I am most inspired by movement, laughter, and love. My goal is to photograph just the right combination of photojournalism and posed portraits, so that in the end, my brides have an exquisite collection of images that will help them tell their story for years to come.
Do you shoot digital or film?
I consider myself a hybrid shooter, meaning I'm fully comfortable shooting both film and digital. Being able to switch easily between the two means I'm ready and able to shoot anything a wedding can throw at me using the best possible techniques, to create the best images.
Tell us why brides should choose you to capture their wedding day.
First and foremost, a bride should hire me if they're attracted to my fresh, timeless style. Also, on a wedding day, I can work well with a number of different people and personalities and still keep things running smoothly and on time. Finally, I'm passionate about great service and tangible, hold-in-your-hands photos in the form of classic albums and frames that perfectly compliment my images; it's my goal to make sure the photography experience doesn't end with the wedding, but rather when the photos are on display in my clients' daily lives.
