Vendor Spotlight-Graceful Tables

Graceful Tables is a splendid Nashville vendor that can take care of all your linen needs for a beautiful wedding!  Michael, the Senior Sales Rep., told us about Graceful Tables' unique system of keeping up with their business.  Who knew how much technology went into a linen company?!  These local professionals are definitely worth a look at.

Tell us about Graceful Tables;  What makes your linens different from other linen companies?

Graceful Tables is unique in that we are the only national linen specialty rental company located in Nashville, TN. While our company is heavily involved in destination events throughout the country, we are an extremely valuable resource to our local planners by providing showroom and a private board room for you to meet with your brides. We also maintain very tight inventory control of our product through a technology called RFID (radio frequency identification device). In simple terms this assures you receive all of your linens 100% accurate to your order. In addition to each of our boxes being labeled with the contents, we individually label all cloths to indicate size, color and fabric – this makes setup a breeze! Upon the return of your linen back to our warehouse, if there are any shortages you are promptly notified to help us find the missing items. Because of our systems and checks and balances, we strive to make our planners confident and our brides at ease on their most important day. We additionally offer production services if you prefer for our crew to handle the linen installation and break down at the end of the event.

Tell us about the linens you provide:

The products we carry include table cloths, overlays, chair covers & ties, runners, napkins and custom items for specialty tables. Graceful Tables offers a variety of linens for all budgets. Everyone deserves to feel their wedding is unique to them. Weddings have become much more a reflection of the couple’s joint style.

Do you do custom linens, for brides that can’t find exactly what they are looking for?

We have situations which a bride has something in mind that she has not been able to find from any other linen rental resource. Generally speaking if the wedding is more than a couple months out we can utilize our established relationships and find the perfect fabric to create custom solutions. These situations may involve a minimum quantity and will cost more to create but it can be done.

What trends are you seeing in linens for weddings?

Whenever someone asks me about trends, I think color popularity comes to most minds. Color in the event world normally has a 2-3 year cycle and this is heavily dictated from fashion and home décor. In the past year, grooms have become much more involved with the reception decisions – especially when selecting color and room layout. Currently turquoise and shades of pool blue have been quite popular this year. But the trend I like seeing long-term in wedding receptions is a harmonious blend of feminine and masculine elements. The party should look balanced and interesting. There has been a very increased demand of natural looking fiber cloths. These are generally more substantial to the touch, heavier in weight with a natural matte finish. In our product line this includes options such as our Natural Weave, Palmer, Titanium and Vintage Vine. While these cloths are certainly gorgeous and great on their own, I consider them more interesting by also incorporating elements such as our Champagne Rosette Runners, Belgian Linen or Hemstitch Napkins and Chaucer overlays.
