Vendor Spotlight- The Enchanted Florist

Need a little floral inspiration today? Well you're in luck because today we are featuring the amazing work of The Enchanted Florist. We asked Caprice, the owner of The Enchanted Florist, a few questions and here's what she had to say: How did you get into floral design?

I helped during the summer at a florist, in high school, but years later a friend of mine owned a florist, lost his designer and asked if I could help him and I've been doing flowers ever since.

Explain your process of working with the bride.

I have all my brides come in for a free initial consultation. I ask them to bring pictures of things they like, just so I can get a feel for their "style", then we sit down and start with the brides bouquet and go all the way through to the reception decor. We talk about looks, and what the bride wants her wedding day to say about her. I also give a quote, at the initial meeting.

What is your favorite flower?

Tough one.....it changes all the time! I love peonies, but I think it's because my Grandmother grew them and she was such a special person in my life, that they always remind me of her.

What makes you different from other florists?

I think what makes me different is that I have the ability to custom design for each individual client. My background is in Technical Theatre, so I think of a wedding as an EVENT and I have the knowledge and skills to do both small and intimate weddings or large and over the top!

What's one thing you love to hear in a consultation with a bride? "YOU GET ME"!!
