We offer hundreds of rentals for weddings, corporate events, meetings, backyard parties and kid’s parties. Tents are our specialty and we have everything to go with them! Draping, lighting, tables/chairs and linens are just the beginning of the items we offer for rent. We have unique items like candelabras, arches and specialty linens and also items in bulk like linens, glassware and china. No event is too big or too small!

 

Explain the process of working with a bride on rentals.

Working with brides on weddings is one of our favorite things to do. We make sure the planning process is smooth, easy and that the bride gets exactly what she and her family want. We start with getting to know the bride, so we can make suggestions later in the planning process. We find out what kind of wedding she is having, casual or elegant, large or small, intimate gathering or a big party and go from there! We know the importance of working with a budget so we are upfront with our brides about price and we help them stay in that budget. We also have unique tools to aid in the planning process. PartyCad is just one of the programs we use to plan tents, and general spaces. This program allows us show our clients exactly how their items will fit inside (or outside) their space and even what the colors will look like. This technology allows us to plan, fit and map out entire events from our sales desk. After the items are chosen and planned, we keep in touch with our brides, making sure they know we are there every step of the way if they need us. Delivery day comes up quick and our professional drivers and set up crew are ready to insure the wedding is set up promptly, safely and is exactly what the bride wants.

There are several excellent rental companies serving the Nashville area and we have great relationships with them. A couple things set us apart. One is our commitment to unmatchable customer service.

The owner of Grand Central, Keith Kranz, is committed to instill the importance of customer service in every employee. We offer free site inspections and set our tents up 1-3 days before an event to eliminate last minute surprises. We pride ourselves on anticipating our customer’s needs and we help them think of everything, down to the smallest detail. This commitment to customer service has served us and our customers well, we have dozens of repeat clients and our biggest advertisement is positive word of mouth. Our sales team’s extensive event experience, allows our clients to be confident that we are the best ones for the job.

What are some trends you are seeing at ceremonies/receptions?

This season, the biggest trend has been the vintage appeal. We have everything our clients need to highlight their family treasures and antique shop finds! Big outdoor weddings are trending as well; tents set up in pastures, backyards or on farms are always popular. We get excited each time someone wants to get married in the beautiful, Tennessee outdoors and we have everything they need to make it happen.

What are you favorite venues to work with?

We manage Rock Castle and Hazelpath Mansion, both located in Hendersonville, TN so those venues hold a special place in our heart. We love working at The Factory in Franklin, a very popular and versatile Williamson County Venue. The Sound Kitchen, a recording studio in Franklin is another venue we manage. It is a smaller venue boasting with rich history of some of Nashville’s dearest recording artists. Their space is amazing, and so unique; a must see for clients with a smaller guest list. We also have a great relationship with the Cumberland Hospitality Group and their wonderful venues, Bootleggers, Frontier Room and the Silver Dollar Salon. Those are located in the heart of Nashville and are always a perfect setting for a great event.
