Vendor Spotlight- Reaux Photo

I am so excited to feature Reaux Photo today! I first meet Laura back in 2010 at Making Things Happen and have enjoyed getting to know her and her fabulous photography. Laura and her husband Jeremy live in Louisiana with their 5 kids and will be transitioning to Nashville soon. Learn more info about their photography below. How did you get into photography?

We became enthralled with the every day moments and documenting them once we had our first kid. Laura started a blog and photography became a big part of it. Then the photography became more of a passion all in its own, and eventually Jeromy caught the bug. Nine years later, we are both full-time photographers and are doing what we love for a living!

What do you love about photography?

We love that photography gives us the chance to be a part of such intimate moments for our clients. Moments that remind us of our own love for each other. Moments that will be felt twenty years from now when their children are looking at their wedding album. Moments that have such a huge impact on the rest of their lives together. And really, at the end of the day... almost all they will really have left to show for it are their beautiful photos and their life-altering love for each other.

What would you say is your photography style?

As wedding photographers, our job is to convey many styles throughout the day from portrait to documentary to travel to event photography. Our main focuses are documentary to really tell the story of the day through photos, and beautiful portrait photography. We direct enough to help everyone feel comfortable, but let things flow naturally.

Do you shoot digital or film?

We shoot both! We love having both in our bags, because they both have such amazing capabilities.

Tell us why brides should choose you to capture their wedding day

Working together as husband and wife, and as two professional creatives, we work really well together to not only photograph each wedding day, but we're there as friends of the bride and groom... and everyone there really! We help keep things as calm and smooth as possible while creating a visual story book of their unique wedding day.
