Vendor Spotlight-Hamilton Bartending

On this day, we're looking into the special bartending services of Hamilton Bartending. The owner, Jesse Hamilton, was gracious enough to answer a few of our questions about his business. What made you go into the business of bartending?

My wife, Tracy, and I were working bartenders in Nashville restaurants and bars when we met in '03. We founded Hamilton Bartending Services in '05 as a way to grow our career that fit our hospitality skill set.

What are some of the different options you offer from your business?

By '08, HBS had grown into a full service special event beverage vendor. We now offer not only bartenders, but everything else it takes to make a drink off-premise, including ice, coolers, glassware, mixes, even a portable bar. Consulting is always free for out clients, so any questions they might have about quantities, recipes, brands, or prices are happily fielded.

What are some specific ways brides can use your business?

A bride can look to us for recommendations on a specialty drink menu, wines, or craft beers.

Do you ship to different states?

Mostly no; our service footprint is Middle Tennessee. We are scheduled to serve our first Kentucky wedding in June and would happily field interest from other brides in the Commonwealth.

We asked Jesse a couple random questions and here's what he told us:

Mac or PC? Old school: PC, landline, a cellphone that only makes phone calls. (We do have a manager who knows about Facebook!)

Tea or Coffee? Black, strong, and often

iPhone or Blackberry? Rotary dial

These guys definitely sound useful for any kind of event a bride needs. Plus free consulting? That definitely helps take some pressure off. Be sure to check out Hamilton Bartending!
