July Group Meeting

From the moment we informed our planners that the July group meeting would be at Monells Restaurant, we knew it would be a memorable one, they could barely contain their excitement. Monells at the Manor is a beautiful restaurant and wedding venue on a huge lot so you have lots of room to decide where your event will be. As you walk inside the Victorian style home, you are greeted with a dazzling staircase, gorgeous chandelier, and the wonderful smell of their fried chicken! We reserved the upstairs for our meeting and had Music City Tents and Events provide all of our rentals.

Our lovely ladies arrived at the beautiful venue around noon, just in time for a delicious lunch catered by C&K Catering. The menu they offered was incredible! We started with a tea bar in one of the side rooms that had a variety of iced teas and fresh fruits. Our meal featured a wide range of flavors and ingredients that left our planners wanting more.

Not only was the food fantastic, but we had some pretty interesting dressed-up servers as well.

After seeing what other goodies we had in store for the meeting, we were all sure to leave room for a cupcake (or three) provided by Yin Yang Cupcakes. Described as a "Cupcake Bar", she specializes in alcohol infused cupcakes. Trista brought us her Walking Horse cupcake (which included Jack Daniels Honey), Crimson & Cream cupcake and Margarita cupcake! Needless to say, we all enjoyed our drink and dessert in one.

Matt from AMP (Advocate Marketing and Print) certainly went above and beyond at the meeting. Not only did he bring a few of the business' samples, but he made recipe cards and fans for the group and even brought an example of the letterpress they are now offering. AMP has so much to offer whether you're in the wedding industry or not.

Finally, we were all privileged to hear from the ladies at Perfect Wedding Guide about their print and online services. They do so much for the wedding industry in Nashville and brought so much fun to our meeting. Their website and is full of useful tools to help anyone who wants to plan a wedding in the Nashville area.

As you can see, our July meeting did not fall short of expectations. The Nashville Wedding Planners Group not only had a great morning together, but they were able to gain more experience with Nashville vendors. A special thanks to Joe Hendricks Photography, a sweet husband and wife team who attended our meeting and are the reason we can share our wonderful experience with y'all!
