As the years go by, traditions change and evolve and the "hard and fast" rules of the past are no longer. This week we asked our planners for some help with the rehearsal dinner.

So who exactly is invited to the rehearsal dinner?

We received great responses from our planners and all of them seemed to agree: traditionally, the wedding party and those involved with the ceremony along with their significant others. However, these days it's all about personal preference! Many people choose to include out of town guests and additional family members.

So whether you (or your in-laws) decide to have a small intimate gathering or another wedding reception-like party, enjoy the love and support and be sure to let your guests know how much you appreciate them!
