As engagement season is at its peak during the holiday season, we thought it would be the perfect time to address one question every bride has: How early should a bride send out her save-the-dates?
Sarah Willard of Music City Events says:
"If you are having a destination wedding, it is best to send Save the Dates 8 months prior to the wedding. Otherwise, typically speaking, the 5-6 month range is a good mark for sending those cute pre-invites out! Be sure to only send these to people you simply have to have at the wedding. Once a Save the Date has been mailed, you MUST follow it up with a formal invitation."
