Today we are spotlighting our member Events by Elaine! This planning company was founded in 2007 by Elaine Roberts.
We love weddings where there are 3 generations on the dance floor, where old traditions meet new ones, where everyone is laughing and never no one wants the night to end. Our couples want to enjoy the spontaneous, fun, genuine moments. They are low-key and love to laugh.
What do your specialties include?
In addition to planning and design, I do prop sourcing or building for some of my clients.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
I love seeing all the little details come together on wedding day after all the months of planning. I love seeing the couple face when they walk into the reception and see all the magic come together. I love seeing old traditions passed down and new traditions being made.

Who is your dream client?
My dream client is laid back, fun, kind, easy going, and grateful. They have a vision but are flexible and open to suggestions. They love to laugh
What are the first steps you take with new clients?
I listen to their ideas and vision and what it most important to them. I create a budget that reflects their priorities. I suggest vendors that match their budget, style, and personality.
How do you stay up-to-date with the event industry?
Education is never ending. I attend online classes, read blogs, watch videos, use Instagram and more to continue learning.

If you owned a restaurant, what food would it serve?
I could eat unlimited seafood so I think that is a good place to start.
