As We Gather Events (AWG) takes care of the wedding planning so that you can truly enjoy your special day. Started by Music City-native Emily Smeykal in 2017, AWG completely customizes every wedding planning experience for each bride-to-be. Emily and her team work tirelessly to serve their clients from helping them to choose their venue, to closing the door of the getaway car after the final send-off. They even just added honeymoon planning to their offerings!"

What inspired you to enter the event industry?

The planning/logistics on the front end and then speed of an event day. Project management is exactly what my heart and head enjoy where I can start and finish projects and see a final outcome.
