Tell us about your venue
Our venue is in a beautiful, historic building that serves several functions including a small coffee shop, roasting operation and web marketing firm. Our attractive and intimate space is perfect for birthday parties, wedding receptions, showers, showcases and any other occasion worth celebrating!
What makes your venue different from other venues?
We are a unique space located downtown just a block off Broadway. With a built-in stage, BYOB built-in bar, attached coffee shop and open vendor policy, this Nashville event space is truly a space to make your own.
What is the history of your venue? (How did it get started, etc.)
The building itself dates back to the early 1900s and has been a variety of businesses including the Nashville Piano Company and a colonial hat shop! Horton Group, a web marketing firm that owns and operates the building, moved into the space in 2011. I (Karli) came on in September 2014 and gave the name a space and a presence in the community and began booking a variety of events in the space including wedding receptions, a charity auction with the Nashville Junior Chamber, a night of Brazilian coffee and much much more.
What are some of your wedding and reception options?
We offer use of our in-house coffee shop with our expert staff as baristas, licensed bartenders and day-of coordination.
Does your venue require use of your preferred vendors, or are brides free to bring their own?
Brides can use whomever they want, but we are always happy to make suggestions!
In your opinion, which event (or type of event) has most creatively taken advantage of your venue, and what made that event a success?
The Nashville Junior Chamber Wine & Dine 2015 charity auction was a wonderful use of the space. Our eclectic mix of in-house furniture mixed with small touches — like hanging paper lanterns and small terrariums as center pieces — were a great use of the space. They utilized the entire space with a full bar, photo booth, Tin Cup Coffee, a DJ and plenty of dancing!
